Mini focus groups (including dyads and triads)
Sub Title Needed
- Other Qualitative Techniques
Many projects require gathering of opinions from smaller groups of business professionals. Some of the reasons for using "mini" focus groups, including dyads and triads, are:
- The need to converse with groups that are more difficult to reach
- The topics or subject matter require more explanation
- Experimental design requires the need to vary stimuli across multiple groups or individuals
In these cases, Beacon recommends mini groups (groups with between 2 to 5 individuals per session).
Beacon has successfully employed mini groups for projects as varied as software architecture, web site evaluation, product development, evaluation of marketing and sales collateral for chief or C-level executives, and other topics.
